Welcome to Adventures in Learning Space, the aim of the space originated in 2012 when I was trying to navigate the explosion of open educational resources, and part of study in online and distance education. 

I used to muse on open educational resources, and the relationship between drinking tea and learning. I'm shifting focus in the blog space and have archived the old stuff for now.

I've recently undertaken research into the lived experiences of social workers learning through work, and I'm going to use the space here to help share some ideas from this that can help navigate the complex elements of learning in that context. 

I'm looking forward to sharing some ideas with you and connecting with anyone interested in revisiting and reconceptualsing what we are really meaning when we think about learning to be and learning as a social worker.
